1 out of 5 eggsbad drive possibly?

Pros: blu ray player...thats it...

Cons: didnt burn cds or dvds at all...

Other Thoughts: to get bluray to at least play, I had to downgrade my ATI drivers to an older driver version and then it finally played. When I went to burn a CD or DVD, I kept getting read errors! Tried 3 diff burner programs, and still the same thing! Since its OEM, I doubt the warranty is much. I threw in my old plextor dvd burner and that is what im running not going to buy Lite-On for a LONG time...

1 out of 5 eggsDon't Purchase

Pros: It's a Blu-ray Drive

Cons: Installed in machines, inserted a Blu-ray disk, was able to read disk, but received read errors. Restarted machine drive is gone. I wouldn't purchase this one again. The LG one better, it is still working.

3 out of 5 eggsAlright

Pros: Reads cds and everything just fine

Cons: Makes a clicking sound. Thought it was defective and got a new one. It does the same thing.

Other Thoughts: Should have spent the cash and got the next bigger model

3 out of 5 eggsthanatos2k

Pros: Hmm, Must work now - ownership length

Cons: No they were Cyberlink (clbstor.sys) drivers and were incomplete, the sata drivers load fine, it does seem like the sata drivers but I know they work because I got it to run by useing some registry hacks and disabling parts of vista. For me it wasn't worth it. Next drive will be certified for vista.

Other Thoughts: If you say it works then they must have new drivers. Or for some reason the same parts of Vista are already disabled on your PC. It's to late for me now anyway. Just trying to warn people before they shell out the $$, just as you're saying its no longer a lemon.

5 out of 5 eggsDrivers?!?

Pros: Solid drive, does what it says it does

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Drivers Chuck? what you talking about? Just plug it into Vista x64 and it works. Are you sure you aren't talking about drivers for your SATA card that this is attached to?

BTW, HD streaming != playing HD movies from disk... I play HD-DVD/BluRay in HD on my HTPC running 2003 server...

1 out of 5 eggsNO Vista 64

Pros: Makes regular dvds look great

Cons: No drivers for Vista, but HD streaming video is only in Vista

Other Thoughts: Lite-ons tech support never even heard of "Driver Signature Support"
