Pros: Cheap

Cons: Died after I barely used it for two months.

Other Thoughts: Was ripping a cd and it went berserk and froze windows. Windows would not start with it connected, and would not recognize in bios. This brand is only good for people with small wallets, but theres a price to pay for cheap product prices. :)

Pros: Installed with no issues, reads all my discs, Quiet drive. I'm still using analog/CRT but played BD movies with no issue. I'll re-post if necessary once I get a new monitor.

Cons: None yet

Other Thoughts: I don't remember if PowerDVD came with this drive or the burner, but it installed easily and updating was painless. First time using PowerDVD and I like it. I know you have to upgrade to decode the new surround codecs and what not but I'll just be 2.1 on my PC it's a non-issue for me.
