Pros: None

Cons: DOA; Failed to burn *any* DVDs or CDs. Had to return it right away to NewEgg.

Pros: Bought this drive to replace a "Liteon" 18X combo burner. I just flat wore it out for several years. So, far
I have burned over 30 DVDs with this new Liteon 22x
burner with no coasters. I have used only Liteon drives
for about 10 years. This one is as good as and better than the others I have owned so far. In my opinion, Liteon drives continue to be a bargin for the price and
ease of use. The Nero software which comes with this one is not as user friendly as the earlier version but is fine for my purposes. Have not used the "Lightscribe"
burning on this one yet. A good drive for the money!

Cons: Tray somewhat flimsy, but if you use the button to retract it that shouldn't be a problem.

Other Thoughts: If this one continues to perform well, I may buy another
one from "Newegg" for one of my other pcs in the near
future.
All optical drives have a certain life span, just like an
automobile. "Lit-on" drives live a long time.
