Pros: Reliable brand which I have used multiple times.

Other Thoughts: It's a DVD Burner / Reader that is reliable, cheap and does the job.

Pros: Easy to Install
Fast
Easy to update firmware

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Much more responsive than an older IDE lite-on drive I had. Comes with easy to install software which can update the firmware in a snap.

Pros: Installed the drive and updated the firmware to LL24. Burned my first cd at 48X and watched it as it flew through the recording. My drive came with Nero 10 OEM.

Cons: The tray seems a little flimsy so don't put too much weight on it.

Pros: Plugged in and worked great. No problems at all.

Cons: None.

Pros: usually liteon makes good if a bit noise drives. the nose is the spin air so it does sound a touch like a vacuum. This is normal for all high rpm<fast> cd/dvd burners and is no louder then the avg of them all.

Cons: widows saw the drive but got the insert disk problem. The drive wouldnt see a disk and didnt spin up. so laser is dead or motor is.. DOA

Other Thoughts: first time ever got a bad part right out of the box from NE. Called Customer Service and they took care of it right away. <added one egg for that> will write another review when i get the replacement. This is the reason i come back, Great service and speedy help if i need it.

Pros: It has great statistics and it comes with Nero 9 and SATA cable.

Cons: Very noisy when opening and closing.

Pros: good price, good product. labeltag is an extra even though it's really not all that great

Cons: labeltag is rather worthless on cds. dvds are ok, but overall shouldnt be a primary reason for buying the drive. (but again at this pricepoint it should be treated as an extra anyway)

Pros: it is black in color so it matches my case better

Cons: includes outdated FREE version of nero which is useless to me cause i mostly bought this cause it did not come with cyberlink software. this crapware version of nero hardly does anything and does nothing with audio.

Other Thoughts: i will never buy anything nero or with nero again.

Pros: It works great with Ubuntu Linux 11.10 and 11.04 64bit versions.

Cons: None

Pros: Fast Read and Access rates. Easy installation with 1 SATA cable and 1 power connect. (no audio lines to route). Label Tag is a great feature, and software package has everything for basic or entry level use. Great media functionality. Very reasonable price.

Cons: Software does not include NERO AutoBackup.

Other Thoughts: It's too bad the drive does not have Bluray read capability, but at this price mid 2011 we are not there yet.. This is one of the newer models, of which costs only slightly more than the previous models. I would check the latest model release and compare prices, because like everything these drives are a work in progress. I have been buying LITE-ON drives for years, and they just keep getting better. They also outperform, and outlast Pioneer, Sony, and others time and time again. I had always installed Pioneer drives in any work build, but after repetitive failures, and driver nightmares, I have learned to trust LITE-ON.
