5 out of 5 eggsMust have

Pros: -Burns everything: CDs, DVDs, and Blu-Ray.
-Plays everything (above).
-3D play back! with compatible monitors/projectors/tvs
-cheap!
-Sata connection
-software included

Cons: -No lightscribe, even thought all my other pc's have that feature, I've never used it. No biggie.

Other Thoughts: Recommended for any new build especially for a home theater pc.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth it

Pros: Solid unit
Flawless playback to date
Quiet, low noise during full speed revs

Cons: It doesn't come with software but I knew that when I bought it, just listing it here in case someone is wondering.

Other Thoughts: Great unit for the price

2 out of 5 eggsBluRay Doesn't Work

Pros: -Reads every DVD/CD
-Functions like a normal drive

Cons: -Does not properly read Blu-Rays
-Disk writing can cause errors some times

Other Thoughts: When watching Blu-Ray movies my computer is fine for some parts but then all of a sudden it can no longer read them, even some times responds with a corrupt disk error. The disks are successfully tested in an actually player and are brand new. I had never used the Blu-Ray functionality before but bought my first one this week and was very disappointed to find the drive is useless for it

1 out of 5 eggsPiece of junk

Pros: Black color

Cons: It lasted almost a year and was barely used, burned less than 20 Blu-ray discs with it, now it won't burn or read anything, no cd's, dvd's or blu-rays, the computer can detect it but that's it. I bought this drive on 10/30/2012 and almost a year to the date is dead, the warranty is one year so there's nothing I can do, you shouldn't have to replace it after only a year.

Other Thoughts: Is no longer available so at least they stopped selling this piece of junk, this was the last Lite-on drive I'll ever buy.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product

Pros: Silent, does not make very loud noise.
Was able to read some DVDs that my others DVD players could not read.
Didn't need to install any drivers (I have Windows 7 Ultimate x64).

Cons: No disc came with it with players software like PowerDVD.

3 out of 5 eggsYear and a half

Pros: Hard to say, didn't use it but maybe 6 times.

Cons: This should have lasted longer than a year and a half, very little use.

Other Thoughts: I burned two movies with this burner over a year and a half watched one. I am surprised as it's a Lite-on but products fail. I had this installed on one of my PC's that I don't use much. O'well

5 out of 5 eggsSmooth

Pros: Burns & plays whatever you want to after you get BluRay software. The reason I got another one is because it spins smoothly with no vibration or noise when burning or playing.

Cons: No included software.

Other Thoughts: I wonder why other manufacturers don't use LiteOn's anti-Vibration technology. Wish it had come with software,

1 out of 5 eggsTotal Piece of Junk

Pros: Got it on sale for a decent price

Cons: I BARELY used this drive, maybe to read a few DVDs and never actually had a chance to use the Blu-ray burner, but just discovered that the drive is now dead and it can't even read DVDs. What a disappointment.
