The eNAU708 is the latest and exciting addition to Lite-On’s external DVD writer portfolio. Creating and sharing your favorite digital data files such as images, music, and videos couldn’t be any easier with the exclusive eNAU708 featuring MyDisk Suite. MyDisk Suite was developed using the latest programming techniques to work in harmony with user and simplifies the complex process users encountering today. It features a collection of software applications including: DiskIndex, DiskCollection, DiskCase, and DiskMobile, making it the latest, most intuitive, and most user-centered disc burning software.

DiskMobile DiskMobile allows users to wirelessly transfer iPhone and iPad images to the eNAU708 DVD Writer using a unique internet address. Once transferred, the eNAU708 will burn the transferred images onto a disc for safe-keeping and DiskMobile allows users to wirelessly transfer iPhone and iPad images to the eNAU708 DVD Writer using a unique internet address. Additionally, DiskMobile can be used to back up photos against theft or loss of iPhone or iPad and free up storage space on those devices.
DiskCase DiskCase is an innovative iPad application offering users the option to design disc covers that are ready to use once printed onto a single sheet of paper. You can design an original case cover or utilize built-in templates to display a strikingly unique disc.
DiskIndex DiskIndex burns discs with an easy-to-navigate and customized auto-run menus that automatically load when a disc is inserted into a PC. Previously, when sharing files, recipients had to tediously search through the long list of files to locate the desired data, photo, or videos files. With DiskIndex, when the disc is inserted into a PC, a custom menu appears allowing the user to easily find and view files.
DiskCollection DiskCollection is burning software with a built-in data management solution allowing users to effectively create a personal disc database. Featuring a drag-and-drop interface, disc cover printing, disc classification and automatic contents indexing, DiskCollection makes file and disc management more efficient in a few easy steps.

Cons: Very short cable of only 9", which might be fine for use with a laptop, but plugging it into a front or rear USB port on a tower is awkward at best. Nero Essentials. $33 (was -$7 on sale) + a $10 mail-in rebate (Amex Reward Card), so $23 (kind-of...) Cons: The $10 mail-in rebate (Amex Reward Card). Make life easier - just lob $10 off the price at the start instead... Other Thoughts: Have bought other Lite-On drives before - always work without a problem. This is basically a notebook DVD drive in a small chassis connected via USB 2.0. The weird cable is probably intended for a notebook/netbook with 1 USB connector on the side, and another on the back of the PC (hence the "reach-around" length of 1 USB 2.0 connection). The length of the USB isn't very great on the end that works. Other Thoughts: It works great so far, though I mostly stream with my TVPC, it was used to install Win7 and works with DVD's in a test performed. Did you find this review helpful? Extremely lightweight (you have to hold the unit to insert and remove discs) and very slim. Has secondary USB plug for extra power if needed (wasn't necessary for me, but there if you need it).
