Solid Burner
- Pros: So far, so good.
- Cons: none
Great drive!
- Pros: Decent specs, burns dvds, it is beige. Works great in my parents' computer.
- Cons: It is interesting that there is a markup on beige items now because of how unpopular the case color has become. Back in my day black drives were an extra five dollars, not the other way around :)
Also, would've preferred SATA, but eh.. it works.
- Other Thoughts: Not too loud, not too expensive. If you need beige, get this.
Decent DVD Burner
- Pros: Biege Color! Easy to install, decent 20X speeds, but now I see that Sony has a new 24X DVD+R, but it's only available in black. Wanted to get a Blu Ray Burner but costs are too high at this time and speeds are very slow. Will wait until prices go down, and when they have an OEM Biege drive. Lastly, you can't beat Pioneer Quality!
- Cons: Total speeds are not quite on par with the new Sony drives, but Pioneer is number 1 in quality/longevity.
- Other Thoughts: Definitely worth 25 dollars!! Excellent Value!!
