Pros: Nice and quite. Seems to be plenty fast and no bad DVD burns to date.

Cons: Heck, throw a SATA cable in there you guys at Pioneer....It would not set you back that much on the profit margins:)

Pros: The drive works great and is quiet.

Cons: This drive was more expensive than some others. I paid more in order to get the bundled Nero Essentials software, which wasn't worth it. Nero Essentials is extremely basic, unlike the Nero Express software that used to come with some drives a few years ago.

Pros: Arrived safely. Have not installed yet, so do not know how it will perform.

Cons: Does not include any mounting hardware, no SATA cable or even screws. Get real, this is a retail package, at least include the mounting screws. Now a comment about reviewers of the LITE-ON Black 22X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 8X DVD+R DL 22X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 12X DVD-RAM 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 32X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM 2MB Cache SATA 22X DVD Burner with LightScribe - Retail. Doesn't have SATA power adapter included? Get real, few people can use an adapter, so why should it be included. Additionally, there is an illustration of the included hardware, and it doesn't include an adapter. The Pioneer had no such illustration, so I assumed this was an oversight. The included SATA data cable is too short? OK, it would probably be too short to reach my external bays too, but my HDD data cable is too long, and short cables are harder to come by and more expensive than normal length cables.

Other Thoughts: I ordered an OEM HDD at the same time as the burner. I didn't order data cables because I thought I had a spare. I will be ordering five or six data cables at the same time I order the above mentioned LG drive.
