Plain but what I wanted in a ROM Drive. I don't watch movies on my computer via Blu-Ray so for those similar as me who does not need Blu-Ray I would recommend this drive based on cost and performance. Thus far my experience with it has been that is quiet,no noticeable vibrations and stays cool compared to an older drive when playing a CD. Cons: None Other Thoughts: I am working on my first "ground up" PC gaming rig build so it is reassuring to know that I am ordering my hardware from the best online PC and electronic hardware and component store on the www.
