Good dvd drive

Pros: Its a fast drive, I have burned dozens of cds and dvds with almost no coasters.

Cons: not really a big deal for me but it fails to overburn dvds.

Other Thoughts: I put it in a firewire enclosure and nero cd-dvd speed show it reads up to 15.8x

Worked right out of the box

Pros: Easy to install with install disk for windows
System checked for updates to firmware and updated that too
Played DVDs right out of the box

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Just installed the software, pulled the old drive, set the jumper, slid it in, plugged in the cables, booted, and we're off!
