Pros: Small, powered over USB, looks nice. Haven't hurned a bad disc yet.

Cons: Wish they made a faster version... ah well. :)

Other Thoughts: This puppy matches my new Acer Aspire AR1600 PC exactly. It's like these two companies teamed up to make matching products. How cool is that?!

Pros: Has read everything that I have put in it.

Of the little bit of burning that I have done, all other drives have been able to read all of the discs. At least all the other drives that have tried.

Cons: The tray is not as strong as I expected. I felt the need to support it as I was putting discs in so that I would not break it.
A little more noisy than my old drive.

Other Thoughts: Got this external because I did not feel justified in getting a new drive for my old laptop.
Have not tried booting from this yet.
Works as expected for what I got it for.
