Pros: Works great. not much else to say.

Cons: I suppose it's a bit loud when ripping CDs, or installing software from a DVD, but I think all optical drives are probably like that.

Other Thoughts: I just bought it to install windows and rip CDs. It works fine.

Pros: Has been working great and hard for several months now. No problems. It gets use several hours every day. Some just watching vids, other times creating vids, music cd's, picture saves, etc. Under constance use has shown no signs of problems.

Cons: The reason for this update is due to what I had said about the packaging earlier. The boxes were crumpled and I was afraid my unit may be damaged and it would be sometime before I got all the parts to do my build so I would not know till then if good. All put together now, not damage by poor handling by the shippers.

Other Thoughts: All good that ends well. It works hard and I am happy.

Cons: i took an egg off because it runs a little loud, i know it was super cheap and i rarely use my cd drive, but when it starts runnin it gets kind of annoying.

Pros: This dvd burner from LG works like a charm. I burn iso images with no problem at all, watch dvd movies. Recommend this one. I had it for a year now and is working like new and quiet.

I've had no trouble with this drive.
Nothing else to say beside: "it does what it is supposed to do."
