Pros: Reads and Burns Disks Quickly, SATA Connection, Clean Looking In Case, Instantly Recognized By Windows 7.

Cons: Can be quite loud when reading disks.

Other Thoughts: Got this free with the purchase of an OCX Pro 600 watt modular power supply. O.K for a basic burner and I have faith in LG products but had to deduct two eggs for the noise level and the unflattering look of it, If I had to buy it I would look for a better model.

Pros: Quick and Clean install, but then again why wouldn't it be? It's a DVD drive. Great price.

Cons: Nothing so far. Only instance I had with it was the tray didn't hold my disc all the way and it slid out when the drive was closing. Not a big deal and probably on me for not fully ensuring the disc was laying flat.

Other Thoughts: No problems. Needed a Sata drive for my new pc build, and this was the most bang for my buck.

Pros: Does the job I need it to do without asking any questions. SATA interface means I can finally rip out the large IDE cable from my previous drive.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Was wrapped in bubble wrap. I don't see a problem with that for the price I paid and the fact that it wasn't harmed in shipping.

Pros: Cheap lil DVDRW that does its job and does it well.

Cons: Louder than most, but I wouldn't say it was actually loud.

Other Thoughts: Really no reason to get anything more expensive for cheap budget builds unless you need Lightscribe.

Pros: I finally needed the drive today, it was a very simple setup and a small BIOS change and it is up and running fine! Just what I expected from Samsung!
If you need to use this as a boot drive you need to change your bios so it boots to this first. It was a simple change for me. I needed to boot because the system I am setting up is a Shuttle with no cd rom, this drive did the trick!

Cons: I didn't need it but the paper setup manual was a joke, nice manual on the disk but what do you do if the disk does not fire up?

Other Thoughts: A nice looking piece of hardware that works, it gets no better than this!
