1 out of 5 eggsLousy drive

Pros: still recognizes blue-rays.

Cons: I was able to burn about 10 blue-rays and dvds. after that the drive no longer recognizes ANY dvds, neither movies, data, or recordable dvds. I guess lucky still recognizes blue-rays.

1 out of 5 eggsNo Windows 10 drivers

Pros: Don't know yet. It's either dead on arrival or I have to revert to windows 7 or 8 to use it.

Cons: It's powered, it's connected, windows sees it as a dvdrw and has given it a drive letter. Research online shows I'm outta luck. All I can do is get it to eject and see there's no disc. It's never actually managed to spin a disc.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product

Pros: I have another LG product similar to this Bluray disk and it has lasted quite along time. this is so far quiet and easy to use. I am glad to have so many options to play different disks on the same player as well as to write on different disks as well. This player blends in with the color of the case I have so you barely see it. It was easy to install and setup in my case.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this LG player to others. I like the LG products for this type and will continue to buy as long as the quality is still there.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat drive

Pros: Great drive, reliable and easy to use.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I've had another drive just like this one for years in my old computer. I'm glad I could get this drive again. Combined with Nero, this makes 25+ GB backups easy.

1 out of 5 eggsCombo Pack

Pros: The Hardware works fine and is good. I recommend it.

Cons: The softwares in the CD does not work and needs an update that cost much more money,

Other Thoughts: Buy the Hardware only and save money because the software offered needs an update and costs much more money.

5 out of 5 eggsBH16NS40 Blu-ray Writer

Pros: It works. It worked when I fired it up. It accesses discs very fast, so no long initialization time.

It is really quiet. I don't understand why people complain about the noise, unless they just received one from a bad batch.

It has what I need.

Blu-ray is awesome.

Cons: None so far. I hope it stays that way.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this product to my friends and family, who are needing or wanting a Blu-ray Writer and player.

Enjoy all.

5 out of 5 eggsBlu-Ray goodness

Pros: This drive worked right off the bat. Could read the installation disk before installing the drives. What really sold me is the fact that this drive came with software for Blu-ray playback. Installation was easy. Now I can watch all of my movies on my PC!

Cons: None that I can think of.

Other Thoughts: Nice face plate.

5 out of 5 eggsLG Blu-Ray ftw!

Pros: I made this purchase based on the fact that the Blu-Ray player came with the cd-rom for the software with it. Instead of going to the OEM website and possibly paying more. I also was able to receive a newegg instant rebate promotion that was going on at the time of my purchase. I've had minimal glitches with the software, that has been corrected with firmware/driver updates. Overall I'm satisfied with my purchase and would suggest to anyone that is in the market for Blu-ray drives to take their time. Consider the price range, brands, and reviews to come to a logical conclusion as to what to buy.

Cons: None
