Pros: Cheap

Cons: Would not recognize all BD discs, about 50% of discs would not even register they were in the drive. These same discs we recognized fine in several other blu-ray drives. RMA'd unit - I am off to try a pioneer unit.

Other Thoughts: Tried 2x Asus units both died after 3 discs, this one only recognizes about 50% of BD inserted in the drive. Dunno whats going on with quality control - I am going to try a pioneer next.

Pros: When you can play your Blu-rays, it is priceless!

Cons: When you can't, well not so much...

Other Thoughts: For $35, you can't go wrong.. It has to be better than the drive you bought 10+ years ago. Maybe eventually, you can play all of your Blu-rays.. I remember when you had to pay like $200+ just to have a Blu-ray drive..

Pros: Works great in my HTPC, front matches the brushed aluminum in on my case perfectly

Pros: This is a great piece of hardware.
It's easy to install, and immediately is ready to use.

Cons: none that I can se so far.

Pros: It does the job. Does not come with software but just search for some free and you'll be fine.

Pros: I bought this drive without really knowing that bluray is not supported for free. But whatever it reads them and works. The real problem I've been having is unreliable burns. I've used 3 different software and all throw a random burn error.

Cons: Img burn, nero, and windows disc burning all throw errors shortly after lead in done. Coaster creator. Bluray support not free

Cons: burnes a min. of 8x, my old samsung blu-ray combo burded at 2.4,4,6,8,12 and 16..( it died after about 3000 movies) does not burn in rom for +r

Other Thoughts: i burn allot of linux not so much video any more but i want more control over my drive. been doin this over ten yrs, have several lg burners this is the first time im pee'ed off....

Pros: There is nothing wrong with this device. It burns/reads DVDs, CDs, and reads BluRay. Works to specs. Nice brushed metal exterior with black finish.

Cons: I give this 5 eggs because I should have read the specs more closely. I thought I saw a BluRay burner on sale, so I bought it. This should have been more prominent, in my opinion. Again, no product defects, just disappointed.

Other Thoughts: *Burnt an entire spindle of DVDs on it, no failures and still working great.
