Other Thoughts: Just a good quality drive, works well and I would buy it again. If your in need for this form factor it is a good price for a good drive.

Pros: Picked 2 of these up on sale (35% discount!!!). They do what they are supposed to do.

Cons: None. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Bupkess.

Other Thoughts: One went into a Toshiba laptop, replacing the original drive that was on its way out. Good fit, did not try to reuse the Toshiba bezel, works well. The other is a spare, I tested it with a USB-to-mini SATA cable; burned 2 DVDs successfully.

Pros: It's a great burner by a great company.

Other Thoughts: If you don't know what kind of connector this uses its not the products fault. All slim burners use this SATA connection, it's not called mini sata, it's just sata. This is a slim burner by the best company...it's fine.

Pros: It fit the case I am using.

Cons: Newegg has this listed as a SATA device when in truth it requires mini-sata. Now I have to either return it and suffer a restocking fee or have to buy a freaking adapter! Thanks for nothing Newegg!

Other Thoughts: Whoever is setting up your ads should really get a clue. Bad information from you makes your customers decide poorly. Of course that results in lost sales and bad feelings between yourself and your customers and no repeat sales. SHAME ON YOU!!!!
