Pros: it fit right in, the front pulled off and i fit the laptop front cover on it . It worked with the laptop without updating anything. (turn off the laptop and pull the battery first)

Other Thoughts: I'd buy it again.

Pros: Have had it for less than a week but does what it claims to do and the price was decent. For the technologically challenged - after I inserted the drive and started my laptop, it automatically loaded the necessary driver. Plug and play - no hassle.

Cons: None thus far.

Other Thoughts: My Asus laptop's Mashita drive conked out after four or five years of a lot of use. It took a bit of searching to find a replacement with proper height dimension. I was happy to find this drive and it's working well for me.

Pros: I've used dozens of LG products and this drive performed as advertised like all of their product line.
