Pros: Seems OK. Just in case my girls want to listen to DVD.

Cons: Nothing for now.

Pros: - Works perfectly
- Plug and play
- Not too loud
- Slim size
- No power brick/connection required
- Bootable

I used this to install Win7 and Win10 to several machines, in addition to booting to memtest86 and a diagnostic utility. Tested it with a DVD movie and burned several disk images.

Cons: Only potential con I can think of is the cable it comes with is short. However, longer cables are cheap and plentiful.

Pros: Works, writes about as fast as an internal drive. No need to spend extra on a USB 3.0 unit.

Windows 8.1 installed drivers automatically.

Cons: Could use another 6" on the cable, but not that important.

A CD was included with crapware.
