Pros: No drivers needed, plug it in and go, cheapest dvd burner you're going to find for sure.

Cons: No support on the manufacturer's page. Search for DVD 1060, and the two results that come up are both lightscribe.

Other Thoughts: Things you will need before ordering:

-Screws to mount the drive.
-SATA data cable.

Pros: SATA interface, so I was able to dump my IDE completely. Great speed for the price, and no more coasters with my DL discs.

Cons: none that I have seen so far

Other Thoughts: This drive is just sweet compared to the 4 year old NEC IDE drive I replaced. It is cool to have 8.5GB available on DL discs to back up photos, etc.
