Pros: When it worked it was one of the best burners I have used.

Cons: After about a month of use, no longer reads disks of any kind. Music, software, or data. Makes a harsh noise when the computer starts.

Other Thoughts: Bought it on sale for about $25, so not worth the cost of return it.

Pros: I am very pleased with this drive. Worked without any annoying tweaking or driver hunting.

Cons: Runs loud while spinning, but what optical drive doesn't? Must be a pretty good drive if this is the worst fault I could find.
