Cons: Not as black as my anodized case (none of drives are, though). Other Thoughts: Haven't used Lightscribe yet, because I don't keep the media on hand. Cons: dies under normal use. indication in windows that it would start to hang the system then the drive tray will stop responding. Front button will open the bay and it would immediately close. Reading of media would not work. You will need to retry several times. Firmware updates are useless. Other Thoughts: avoid, avoid, avoid. Bad samsung. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Cons: Stopped working after about 3 months and couldn't update the firmware. Driver was up to date according to vista. I had to manually delete the registry file and it started working again. It may have a compatability issue with my version of Nero (I'm using 8, but had 6 installed for a bit)?? Working fine again... Did you find this review helpful?
