Pros: Works nicely with Mac computers. Slim, good style. Great price. (I'm responding to someone who wanted to know if the device works with a Mac OS 10.6.8, but Newegg didn't make it easy to respond to this particular question to the prospect who asked it.)

For a question asked on 2-19-16, there is no software that comes with this device. It works with Microsoft's operating system. You move whatever you want onto the icon for the DVD/CD, and select "Burn" in the window.

Pros: Price, size, works with my Mac and my Kangaroo equally well. I gave my first to a friend up north (Canada for Christmas) and got another for me. Light enough to make it into my big carry bag, great color makes it not forgettable (less likely to leave behind).

Pros: Sleek. Light. Fast.

Cons: Internal mechanics failed after one week of use. I would not recommend. It's odd - Samsung typically makes a quality product. I wonder if there's an issue with Newegg.

Pros: Cheap. Can see the light trough the paper thin red cover. Doing good on the burns.

Cons: Ever feel like burners are going to the way side like the 8 track or VHS?

Other Thoughts: I do like it. It's very quiet.

Pros: Works great. I teamed it up to use with a net book with Windows 8.1. and it found it right away. Does what it needs to do.
