Other Thoughts: I have burn 80 verbatim 16x dvd-r at 16x speed, and there are no any problem so far,the performance is pretty good that this machine burns about 60 discs per hour.

Followup on repair bill

Pros: Good initial build, did the job ( this is a followup from my experience with Vinpower)
Cons: Repair bill from previous post was 250 which I approved. All 5 drives (not 6, strange) then the lcd panel. Then you add 1 extra box, 50 to ship, 50 in labor and before I knew it the 250 quote was up to over 400!!!! Hello? Is this illegal to do in auto repairs, I don't see how they can charge me 150 dollars more than the initial quote. This is crazy.
Other Thoughts: The person in tech support seems nice but it makes no sense to me to quote me a repair that I had asked for a ballpark quote prior to shipping. I've been without a duplicator for 2 weeks in repair which I build pc's and should have just took it apart myself and repaired it. I got burned on this one but next time if you are computer tech savy, open it up and repair the unit yourself. I should have just done it myself by the previous poster. What angers me is that I maybe burned 300 cd's per drive over the year, that doesn't seem like a whole lot of MTBF use. Oh well, I guess I'm getting my 900 dollar duplicator....

Followup on issue with device

Pros: Good initial value, following up from above post
Cons: Sent device to the company for repairs. Despite the device still making good cd's they upon receiving my duplicator claim the lcd now has weird characters and that all drives are bad. The odds of all cd drives going bad (6 of them) all at once in a truck packed in original container is about 1 in 1,000,000. If the device fails, just realize the people running this company are a bunch of swindlers. They want about 300 dollars to replace all equipment. There is no technicians its all just amatuers that are doing the troubleshooting.
Other Thoughts: There are not a log of options out there and I would strongly suggest avoiding Vinpower after my experience. I have built a lot of pc systems over 20 years and this technical diagnosis is nothing short of a mechanic selling you goods you don't need. This is probably illegal to do but most people are not that knowledgeable on pc repairs.
