Other Thoughts: I would recommend this product for anyone who is looking for an external bluray player. It works flawlessly and reads at a fairly decent rate. It installs easily on any windows. I'm using windows 7 ultimate but it plugs in and simply installed on windows xp as well. I am currently copying a bluray and i get 5-10 read-speed on my pc.

Pros: Very nice looking and performance is GLICHLESS installed on Win 7 not a stich of problem did the Firm Ware update and of course its a Plextor My 3rd one!!
Sold on your product. also very quiet.

Cons: No power light on in the idle mode contacted Plextor in refrence and was told that leaving it on is not a problem so that ia that. PS I like lights telling me a unit is on.

Other Thoughts: Should have implmented a burner in it

Pros: * Drive works great.
* Have this working with Acer Revo 3610 with no problems.
* Watching with Pioneer Kuro Plasma. Bluray looks awesome!
* Drive goes to sleep if not being used

Cons: * Came with PowerDVD 8... wish it had 9
