Good Drive
- Pros: Was Getting bad recordings utill i updated the firmware, now I get perfect burns.
- Cons: Tried Nero 9 and Roxio 10, to try and burn this qflix dvd, still not able to record.
- Other Thoughts: Working great with other dvd R's, but the Qflix disks, i'm not able to get it to burn yet. Drive is quite and does a good job.

Drive keeps burning coasters
- Pros: Cheap.
- Cons: About 50% of the disks I burn are coasters. Many audio burns from iTunes have failed. And NONE of the DVDs (not copy protected) that I tried to copy worked. DVD copy process fails 100% of the time about 5% into the job. DVD copies work fine with my old Panasonic drive. This Plextor drive is a doorstop.
- Other Thoughts: I'm sad. I didn't get to test this drive until after 30 days of purchase, so I can't return it. I'm also very disappointed by Plextor. I have been a loyal Plextor customer for a decade. Now that time is over.
very good burner
- Pros: this is the best drive i used since my last plextor. very quiet and fast, burns DVD media under 4 minutes!
- Cons: haven't try Qflix yet, so I can't comment on that
- Other Thoughts: got mine for 29.99 with 5 pack of Qflix dvds
Disappointing - not a Plextor
- Pros: Very Pretty. Reliable - reads and writes perfectly, but . . .
- Cons: Slow. Does not compare to my Plextor PX-800A. Burns +DVDr at 4x max. Burns +DVDR DL at 2.4x max. I tried both Verbatim and Memorex media which had burned at 16x (+DVDr) and 8x (+DVDR DL) respectively on the PX-800A drive. Worse, it reads at only 1/4th the speed of the 800.
- Other Thoughts: Newegg sold at 39 bucks, cheap for a Plextor, but expensive for what it really is.
