5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Excellent features for an office caliber printer. Ink wells are also refill friendly, a definite plus. Setup was a breeze.

Cons: none really, if there was a con, it would be the size, but that is expected for such a printer.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far so good

Pros: So far the printer is working great. Prints B/W quicky, color is at a decent speed as well. Scanning is a bit slow, but it does a good job of it. Digital display is nice - lets you know a bit of what is going on.

Cons: None

Cons: Owned this printer two months, and it died, have owned cannon printers in the past and have good luck with them.Just wont power up,if you buy this printer get a warranty for it because you will have problems.

Other Thoughts: Buy something else.

5 out of 5 eggsBought a second one!

Pros: Bought my first MX700 in 2008 and was so pleased with it I picked up one for home too. It prints beautifully and works very well as a network printer. Envelopes and small labels (around 4x6) print perfectly and without a hitch. The ink lasts longer than my wifes HP and is much more reasonably priced. It has been reliable and turned me into a fan of Canon printers.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Front and rear paper feed options means you have to make sure the correct feed source is selected or you might print a few invoices on envelopes instead on paper...

5 out of 5 eggsSuper Deal

Pros: Got it on sale for $89.99 plus free shipping, you cant beat that. It does everything you want in a multi-purpose printer.

Cons: Slight processing delay when starting printing, but for the price its no big deal.

1 out of 5 eggswhat a loser

Pros: Slick features and operation..... for 6 weeks.

Cons: 2 weeks outside the RMA limits it takes a dump. Was working beautifully for 6 weeks then I upgraded my PC. I plugged it back in after reinstalling drivers and voila... the PC cannot recognize it. It knows its there just can't do anything about it. Tried it on 2 computers and it neither one recognizes it. I used to be solid on Cannon, now I'm just ticked off.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great scan quality, relatively fast printing in both b/w and color. The card reader is a nice touch if you don't have one on your PC. Being network ready is great although the majority of all in ones are. The scanning software is easy to use and very functional.

Cons: Takes awhile to start printing after initial power up; scanner is a little noisy.

Other Thoughts: As others have noted, Canon does not include a USB cable which you need even if you are doing a network install in order to get things going on the initial computer. I had one laying around so it wasn't a big deal.

5 out of 5 eggsIt does it all

Pros: It prints, scans, copies, faxes and receives faxes in a clean efficient way. I can't ask for more. For < $100 you can't go wrong. Speed is good especially first page (much better than my old Epson inkjet), noice level is low, quality is excellent, ink consumption is reasonable, and it has been reliable for the last year.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsPrintastic!

Pros: Fast Print speeds, separate ink tanks so you only need to replace the color that is empty. It is network ready with built in 10/100 NIC.

Cons: I wish that I had purchased this printer a year ago. Ink tanks could be larger. No USB or Network Cable is included. Not a Con for me as I have plenty of USB & Network cables but may be for others. Canon should indicate that the printer is network ready. They list connectivity as USB & Pic Bridge only.

Other Thoughts: This printer replaces an HP OJ L7680 that I purchased from Newegg exactly 1 year ago. That printer was a problem from day 1. From poorly written software to hardware failures until it just stopped communicating. This printer worked right out of the box. The only thing that I found strange was the way to connect it to a network where you first need to connect the printer to a USB port on a PC then while installing the network drivers, you select the option that it will be used on a network then you need to connect the network cable to the printer then disconnect it from the USB. This only applies to the first install. When installing it on 2 or more PC’s, the USB step is not necessary. Also, download the latest drivers and other software from Canon for this printer and install the drivers first, the rest of the install will be smooth. A Great Printer at a great price. Fast Shipping!
