Does NOT do duplex scanning
- Pros: nice looking, great tech support, sort of, some misinformation. But it does great scanning and printing and faxing so far. ;+)
- Cons: Canon tech support has some misinformation in their sales department, every time i called to either ask a question about duplex scanning or if a particular scanner, including this one, had duplex scanning, the answer was yes. The answer is in fact no, NONE of the AIO's have duplex scanning, which means scanning BOTH sides of a paper with a single insertion. I think they have duplex scanning confused with duplex printing, not sure why that happens. I bought this because Canon support told me it has duplex scanning which it does not.
- Other Thoughts: Exchanging for MF4350D which does the same thing without networking and has smaller scan memory and for $150 less. right now the only affordable office machine which does true duplex scanning is the Brother 8085DN for $500.
