Enter the multi-function printer. Using inkjet technology, it prints in black and white and color, it photocopies in black and white and color. And naturally, the scanner works in black and white and color as well. And all of these features are packed into a device about the size of a less versatile printer. It can be used as a wired or wireless network printer as well; share your printer, even when your computer is off.
Check it out and decide for yourself, but this could be your next printer.
Pros: Sure looks like it has some nice features; wish I could use it. My overall rating reflects NewEgg's return policy, not the printer necessarily.
Cons: Unboxed it and discovered the scanner bed glass is cracked from side to side! Very upset to discover that NewEgg does NOT pay for return shipping on defective goods! Their estimate is over $30 for return shipping. Suddenly, the printer does not seem like such a great buy. I have never heard of usch a policy from an online retailer! I've been a customer since 2004, having placed about 30 orders with the egg. Now I am finally having to return one. From now on, my NewEgg purchases will be limited to small (cheap to ship) items, or items that are unlikely to be damaged by handling!!
Other Thoughts: If an item will be expensive to return (when received defective or DOA) think twice before buying from the Egg. You are risking an expensive shipping charge if it needs returning.

Pros: Fast, quiet, excellent print quality, easy to use, easy to install, WiFi setup was quick and simple, photos printed on glossy paper look like real photos.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: New Egg has always been the best. I would recommend This printer and New Egg, to anyone

Pros: I should say I picked this up so I could print receipts and coupons. I purchased this when it was on special (I wont post the price). So I was happily surprised when I found it was a copier and scanner too. I have printed game manuals and the color quality seems to be more than adequate. As you can tell I very happy with this purchase and the price I bought it at. Thank you NE and Cannon.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: How well it prints photograph quality pictures I leave to review by someone else.
Didnt have to use the install disk with it as Vista recognized it and loaded all my drivers.
I should also say the USB cable was almost to short for me. But I cant list that as a con as my desk is very large and the printer stand is at the opposite end as the PC. But an extra foot to the cable would have been great.

Pros: This is a great printer. I had no problems hooking it up to my computer, the software did not give me any problems. The pictures and the everyday printing is great.
Cons: I only get about 1/3 of the speed out of the printer that is quoted on the PPM. I am not sure how they get that many pages per minute unless they are printing blank pages.
Other Thoughts: I always assumed 'All in one' meant that it included a fax machine too (like my HP did). But it does not. I still kept the printer as that the fax was my lowest of priorities, but when I needed the fax, I was bummed.

Pros: Great color. Fast. I have always been an HP person but I have changed m mind.
Cons: Other than ink prices nothing. I also look at the fact all manufatures ink is out ragous in price.
