  • newegg Quality & Speed Realize the power of 4800 x 1200 maximum color dpi thanks to Canon Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering (FINE) with a print head firing ink droplets as small as 2pl. The result is incredible quality and detail in both your business documents and photos. The two genuine Canon ink cartridges contain specially-formulated inks for great document and photo quality, one black & white cartridge for crisp text and one multi-color cartridge for beautiful photos. Both are easy to use and replace. As for speed, you’ll print a borderless, 4" x 6" photo in approximately 55 seconds.
  • newegg ChromaLife100+ The ChromaLife100+ system combines enhanced FINE print head technology with select genuine Canon photo papers and inks for beautiful borderless photos that will last up to 300 years when stored in an archival-quality photo album.
  • newegg Auto Photo Fix II Built-in Auto Photo Fix II technology automatically categorizes your images into one of five types - Portrait, Scenery, Night Scenery, Snapshot with Scenery, and Snapshot with Night Scenery - then applies optimal image and multi-zone exposure correction. So, unexposed areas of the photo will be optimized, area by area and faces that are backlit and under-exposed will automatically be brightened with correct color cast to help ensure more accurate skin tones for gorgeous images.

4 out of 5 eggsNice basic printer

Pros: Small size, nice clean text, reasonably good photo printing, reasonably fast, inexpensive, ink is reasonably priced.

Cons: Ink doesn't last as long as I'd like. This unit has no paper catch tray,

Other Thoughts: This is a basic inkjet printer, no fancy feature sets. Text printing is wonderful, photo printing is pretty good for such a cheap printer. My only real gripe is the lack of a paper catch (a tray or a cheap plastic catch, something!) but if you set this on a roomy table it won't matter. This is for basic home use only, not for high production. Can't really go wrong when the printer is under $30 and prints color.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Still on original ink cartridge - printed approx. 100 pages so far. I would not recommend it for professional presentations but for most home, home office, student use it is a great little printer.

Cons: It powers off automatically which is a pro and a con. Whenever I need to print I must go to the next room to turn it on (it is connected to my son's computer).

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent for the Price

Pros: Takes up sm. amt. of rm. Good price. V.G. print job

Cons: Not a one.

Other Thoughts: I only print letters, personal envelopes, a few sm. size photos, crossword puzzles, bills. The printer does it well. I don't need a scanner or a paper catch tray.

4 out of 5 eggsSimple and affordable

Pros: Small size, pleasant aesthetics, and cheap. No problems so far after six months of frequent use.

Cons: Loads vertically, which may be a space issue. There's no page tray, so be sure you have enough room for those finished documents to land on your desk. It's also a little loud.

Other Thoughts: This is a no frills budget printer. If all you need from your printer is greyscale and simple color pages, then this is a good bet.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Printer

Pros: I have owned this printer for better than a year. I get good quality for print. This is my busniss printer. It prints photo with photo quality ink. I also like it is compatiable with older Windows. I am running on XP Pro but specs shows compatiable with Windows 2000 for us old gurus

Cons: It does print slow and ques the print job slow but for me it gets the job done.

1 out of 5 eggsTERRIBLE

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Terrible printer i have owned 2.. They make noise for minutes on end and do nothing what so ever. I had one and after a year it just stopped working so i got another one and the same thing happened after 3 months. Then i purchased Canon ink and the printer wouldn't accept it.

Other Thoughts: Not worth the 30 dollars the printer costs. Just spend a little more.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Printer

Pros: Clear print quality, fast at printing and easy to use and setup.

Cons: Ink cartridge replacement cost

Other Thoughts: I love this thing, it's served me well for a year. The cost of the printer far outweighs the cost of the replacement ink cartridges for regular home needs. It's the perfect printer for the average home that's printing resumes, school work and low res photos from phones and such.
