Pros: Replaced an HP 2200 with manual duplexing with the P3005d. This one is twice the speed and the built-in duplexing is a real treat.
Cons: Printing a large graphics file takes a long time for the printer to accept the file. Good output quality, however.
I Installed the printer on LPT1 but the port created by the installation process didn't work quite right. Reassigned to LPT1 and everything worked. HP makes some buggy installation software...
Other Thoughts: I installed using the CD that came with the printer. Then I downloaded the new PCL6 drivers from hp.com.
If you have issues with the duplexer not working or not printing the correct number of copies, remove the drivers and software with the install CD and start over. Get toner from meritline.
