5 out of 5 eggsGreat Printer

Pros: This is a great printer. I really love HP Printers. We have several other HP Printers in our home. I purchased this B8350 Printer to mainly print 13X19" photographs. It works great for that and also works great on other Photo media.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have tried other printers like Epson, Cannon and Lexmark printer. The worst printer of them all was the Epson. Cannon and Lexmark are good, but HP in my opinion are the best for the money!! NOTE!! Always use factory ink with any printer you purchase!!

3 out of 5 eggsYou missed the ball on this one.

Pros: Limited features. Average print quality and average performance. It certainly should not be called a "pro" printer.

Cons: For a printer that is supposed to be a pro photo printer it is surprising lacking in just about every category that I can think of. Print quality is good but not pro quality. Color saturation is several shades off and flat. There is not a uniform crispness to the photo with areas going in and out of sharpness even though the original is even sharp. It may be that the driver for some reason needs tweaking. It is a shame that you have to go up to the 8750 with an additional $150 to get to where this printer should be.

2 out of 5 eggsHP Has Gone Downhill

Pros: Prints on larger paper than most. Fairly quick printing.

NewEgg's customer service is the best in the business, as it has always been!

Cons: Bought for CAD printing, but line thicknesses varies as print head passes left-to-right, then right-to-left so that some lines look thick-thin-thick-thin, and so on. HP has been contacted nearly one month ago and they haven't responded yet. We are a business that relies on this printer and it, plus HP's lack of support, are completely UNACCEPTABLE.

Other Thoughts: This is the last HP I will ever buy for my company. HP was THE printer people for as long as I can recall, but now they're just running on a reputation. A reputation that's getting quickly tarnished.

5 out of 5 eggsNote: It does 11 x 17 printing nicely

Pros: In my testing, this printer handles 11 x 17 printing, at all resolutions, without problems. I don't know what the previous reviewer's issue was.

Cons: Yeah, it has only 2 ink cartridges, instead of a bunch of individual color cartridges, so if you are doing a lot of printing, it could get costly. I have not investigated refills and such.

1 out of 5 eggsDoesn't work on 11x17 paper

Pros: none -- it didn't do what I need.

Cons: It wouldn't print on 11x17 paper in anything other that "Fast Draft" mode, even from Adobe Acrobat. It started crashing my application every other time I tried printing.

Other Thoughts: HP's support was abominable. They were guessing at driver solutions and even claimed the printer wasn't supposed to print on 11x17 paper.
