The Lexmark X4550 is a smart choice for users who need the flexibility of an all-in-one scanner/copier/printer, and need to share a single printer with all the computers on their WiFi network. Quality Print,EZ WiFi SetUp
- Pros: Works great..very easy to set up on multiple PC's Just pop in the install CD and press Continue. After having so many PC accessories being a nightmare to setup,It was an absolute delight to see how EASY this printer was to setup on both our PC's,incredible.
- Cons: Ink is a bit expensive, no biggie, the pro 's out weigh this one con. Nothing that anyone who has owned a Lexmark does not already know though.
- Other Thoughts: Man that set-up was a complete breeze!
Great printer/scanner/copier
- Pros: We use this with multiple lap tops on our wireless home network and it works great. Scanned items show up on your pc as a pdf no sweat. The printer sits in a wait mode and will turn itself on when you send a print. The setup was easy too, the Lexmark installer cd was pretty darn quick too. Ink refills are affordable.
- Cons: None yet.

Not bad
- Pros: It looks nice and it's a printer. Great price. Easy setup for dummies. Really easy. Even has like a 5 step process to plug it in. haha.
- Cons: It didn't work as a wireless printer in my network. I'm a mix of vista and xp so that's probably why.
- Other Thoughts: Wish it had worked
So far so good...
- Pros: Works well. WiFi is nice. Powersaving feature. Prints smooth.
- Cons: Sometimes becomes unresponsive and needs to reboot. The paper-stopper flap is poorly designed and while printing large documents pages begin to fly onto the floor or become shuffled and out-of-order.
- Other Thoughts: This machine doesn't seem very solid or well built but I have used it nearly daily for about 6 months and no significant problems or jams. I got it when it was on 'Shell Shocker' for very cheap and if it breaks today - I will not be too dissapointed for that price. I have always kinda felt like printers are semi-disposable since they are relatively cheap and never last long. If it lasts a year I would be very happy.
Great printer for households
- Pros: I bought this printer primarily for its Wifi capabilities. The Wifi works wonderfully with all seven computers in the house. Print quality is the best of any printer I've used. Printer's controls are relatively simple and easy to use.
- Cons: It would be nice to simply install the drivers instead of the bloated Lexmark software.
- Other Thoughts: Ink is about $20/cartridge at Wal-Mart. If you're looking for a printer for a wireless network in your house, this is it.
