The Lexmark X7675 is a smart choice for users who need the flexibility of an all-in-one scanner/copier/printer/fax machine, and the convenience of sharing a single printer with all the computers on their WiFi network. The X7675 prints at resolutions up to 4,800 x 2,400 dpi, and gives you up to 32 ppm of print output. The flatbed scanner copies your documents and photos in full color at 600 x 1,200 dpi, and lets you resize from 25%-400%. Pros: I just bought this printer today after getting fed up with my HP c6180's software and drivers. For some reason HP chose to create software monstrosities that embed themselves everywhere, slow your computer down, randomly unload themselves, lock up the computer, take forever (and I mean FOREVER) to actually install, and have real issues with software/hardware combinations that either don't allow the printer to function partially or at all. I hope their current crop of printers has better software, but the size of their driver packages looks to still be huge, particularly with all the bloatware.
So...I got this one today, and here is what I experienced:
- Great packaging, with a very nice folder with your disc and documentation all bundled
- ZERO issues with USB-direct link install on computer #1
- ZERO issues with wireless setup to laptop
- ZERO issues with wireless setup to another desktop
- All 3 set up in the time it would take the HP software to START install
Cons: None so far, and I've run it through scanning, printing, copying, and accessing the on-board card reader. ZERO issues. I'm lovin' it!
Other Thoughts: HP: Take a look at your competitors and how they do their software. Looks to me like they actually went and tested what they created before sending it to the masses and me. Put yourself thorugh the pain of trying to get one of your printers to work with your software out of the box and you just might come up with a better solution. I love your hardware, but won't be buying and HP printer anytime soon.
LEXMARK: You just won me over with ease of install, ease of use (your software is as simple and as easy to setup/use as any I've ever seen), and quality output. Easiest hardware install I've had in years. Thanks for the great work! - Your newest customer

Cons: The ink cartrage leaks when installing it.
Other Thoughts: I wish i was able to scan to a share drive on the network. But i guess selecting a computer to scan to is ok.

The best 3-in-1 printer you'll ever find in the landfill

Pros: Easy to set up, print, fax and scan. Average quality printing.
Cons: Got one of these for my girlfriend's mother who uses it to help run a church office. Set it up and seemed to work fine. Then after exactly 1 year to the day, it suddenly started making clicking noise with the display flickering uncontrollably and completely stopped worked. This was not a very heavily used printer and was well cared for.
Other Thoughts: In terms of inkjet 3-in-1 printers, Lexmark makes some of the worst I've ever seen in terms of durability. Aside from this bad experience, I can count at least 3 other friends and family members that have had similar problems within one after about a year of ownership.
Despite these problems, I will say they seem to make decent laserjet printers. I personally own a Lexmark E120n laser that I've had for about a year that I like very much. After saying that now, I just hope it doesn't go explode in front of me.

Pros: The all in one works great EXCEPT for the fax. My wifes loves the scanner and the 2 sided prints.
Cons: It shorted ALL my phone lines and took AT&T a week to get here to fix all my land lines. :( I'm hoping to get a replacement from Newegg. Here we go...
