3 out of 5 eggsLabel Away

Pros: The unit prints postage but beware you will need to purchase special labels for this task. Out of the box you will be able to print return or address labels. You can print onto a wide variety of labels, you just need to purcahase the labels first!

Cons: Not a lot, though loading the labels takes a little getting use to in order to minimize label waste and alignment issues It performs as advertised!.

Other Thoughts: This is nice addition to the small office at home. However make sure you check out the online services that allow you to print postage BEFORE you purchase one of these, if this is the reason you are getting it! There are charges some monthly that make it not as good of a deal that it appears to be on the surface!

3 out of 5 eggsWorks Decent priced high

Pros: Prints labels perfect for saving ink, paper, and tape by just sticking the label directly on the package :D

Cons: ive noticed you cant turn it off and if im running it a while without printing then one day decide to print something it wont work without unplugging and plugging it back in ive noticed fixes it and requires java to work i think for the price its a little high but when it works it works great

Other Thoughts: Id recommend this item to anyone

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great. Upgrade from the Dymo EL60

Pros: Works great with XP. Upgraded from a Dymo EL60 that was about 7-8 years old and still worked, but just took longer and longer to start up. The 450 works fine and is much quicker then the EL60. I use the label printer to print shipping labels and integrate to it from a custom program I wrote, and moving from the EL60 to the Labelwriter 450 was flawless. Created a new label format file and pointed my app to it and it worked fine

Cons: NONE

5 out of 5 eggsAs good as it gets

Pros: Work with Vista/Win7.
Software somehow improved over older version.

Cons: Device does not have power switch button compare to older models.
If you use software prior to v.7.8, and save your label as .LWT, then you must convert and save them as .LWL.

Other Thoughts: I had a Dymo label EL60 which works perfectly after 10 yrs. Unfortunately it's not supported in Win Vista/ win 7.
