5 out of 5 eggsFast, Efficient, and Versatile

Pros: Compact, very fast, USB connectivity, ink dries quickly, automatic font scaling, can print postage, stores previous labels.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I wasn't sure what I would do with this when I got it, as the staff at work use them only for address labels. Since moving and reorganizing, I find that I use it daily, many times. I print labels for storage boxes of all sizes. I print labels for expandable and regular file folders. I printed a label for an old pill bottle "Collar Stays." Because the fonts scale automatically, you can easily make a list of items and label a box (or use a few labels if you like a bigger font).

1 out of 5 eggsLies Lies Lies

Pros: Prints quickly.

Cons: DYMO sells this printer claiming it saves you money of postage, LOLOLOL!!! Guess what? It DOESN'T!!! They charge a monthly fee to use your own labels. That's right, all the labels you purchased are now garbage!!!!!

Please do everything humanly possible to not buy this printer or any of their products.

1 out of 5 eggsLOVED DYMO, NOW NOT.

Pros: lovely printer

Cons: Software installs apple bonjour with out telling you.
That is just wrong.
It shows up in the add remove programs after installing dymo software.
What gives.

Other Thoughts: printer is Great if software was not so goofy.
Slipping programs in during install is just wrong.
Just like if you click on preferences it auto checks customer participation. That is also very WRONG.
I hope Dymo gets there act to gether and becomes honest again.

1 out of 5 eggsThis printer is dangerous

Pros: LABEL PRINTER WORKS GREAT
IS NETWORKABLE (SHARABLE) ON NETWORK.

HAVING TO GO BACK TO OLDER SOFTWARE,

Cons: SOFTWARE LIES AND IS DANGEROUS.
YOU CLICK OFF CUSTOMER FEEDBACK PROGRAM DURING INSTALL. AND SOFTWARE TURNS IT BACK ON BY GOING TO EDIT PERFERENCES.
SOFTWARE VERSION 8.5.0.1751 THEIR LATEST.

INSTALL SOFTWARE BUGGY. YOU CLICK ON ADVANCE INSTALL, YOU CAN ONLY CLICK ON PRINTER INSTALL OR BOTH, NOT JUST SOFTWARE INSTALL. I KNOW YOU HAVE TO HAVE PRINTER INSTALLED AND I DO HAVE LASTED 64BIT PRINTER FOR 450TURBO INSTALLED BEFORE INSTALLING SOFTWARE.
HOW DUMB OF THEM.
LAST WEEK DOWN LOADING SOFTWARE FROM THEIR WEBSITE, BOTH SOFTWARE, 32&64 BIT PRINTER DRIVERS AND PDF FILES DOWNLOADED AS ONLY BIG LONG NUMBERS FOR FILENAMES. THE FILENAMES ON WEBSITE SINCE HAS BEEN FIXED. BUT THE SPYWARE HAS NOT. I DO NOT LIKE BUGGY OR LYING SOFTWARE. PRETTY PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE AND POST APPOLOGY.

Other Thoughts: THIS IS SPYWARE. BECAUSE IF IT WAS NOT IT WOULD BE EASY FOR THEIR CODERS TO FIX. I HOPE COMPANY ANSWERS US AND FIXES THIS. Now I got alot of machines to fix and NOW I HAVE TO PROTECT OUR NETWORKS FROM DYMO WITH FIREWALL SETTINGS.

1 out of 5 eggsFree postage printing? Nope, its a scam.

Pros: Convenient way to print USPS postage before being forced to pay for over priced labels or forcing a 10 monthly fee.

Cons: If you are looking to buy this to print postage do not buy this printer. Its a scam and you wont find out till you get it home. Just search activation dymo code for more info on this false advertising.

Other Thoughts: I had this printer for about a year and all the sudden it stopped accepting my labels. An activation screen popped up and wanted some sort of code. Yep, now they charge a 10 monthly fee just to print postage?

1 out of 5 eggsDon't buy this for stamps

Pros: it works

Cons: If you buy this for stamps, be prepared to pay endica's excessively high stamp fees - it costs you 12.5 cents per stamp in addition to the normal postage rates. They conveniently downplay this until you have bought the printer and printed 200 stamps. Or you could pay their exorbitant monthly fee and upgrade your account. It is a bait and switch, as far as stamp printing goes.

Other Thoughts: I won't be purchasing any more Dymo/Endica products.

2 out of 5 eggsWatch out

Pros: Can print any denomination of postage with Paypal MultiOrder Shipping.

Cons: New policy as of 6/1 requires you to buy THEIR labels which have a serial number on them for DYMO Printable Postage, so existing stock of third party labels becomes worthless, and their labels are MUCH more expensive. Sounds like a class action lawsuit for anti-competitive behavior just waiting to happen.

1 out of 5 eggsBeware

Pros: Printer works great!

Cons: Dymo is now requiring an Activation Code (which is only found on their highly overpriced labels) despite making a fortune on machines and advertising free software with no mention of buying only DYMO labels).

Other Thoughts: Dymo\Endicia has recently announced a new anti-competitive policy whereby they are going to require their own branded postage labels at about 9x the cost of other vendors. Therefore, be aware prior to buying this printer that you will be paying up to 17% more per letter mailed when using this printer for self-postage. For those that do not care about postage, the printer is otherwise a decent model but product support does lack in terms of quality and timeliness.

5 out of 5 eggsCompact, but Powerful

Pros: Quick print. This little printer runs like a champ. Very quiet, and the print looks great.

Cons: None at this time.
