4 out of 5 eggsNice system for sure!

Pros: Excellent little system for small business or home solution to postage. Other members posted about discounted postage, however I have not witnessed this. A lot easier than having to stand in line at the USPS.

Cons: None really.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Money Saver - The Best

Pros: For the small office, this will save you SOOOOO much mone! Disregard the reviewer who claims it costs 17 cents/stamp. I purchase my refill labels on a certain on-line auction website and pay about 3-4 cents/stamp. We bought this and "fired" Pitney Bowes, SAVING us $600/year! I actually ahve 2, one at my full-time office manager job and one for shipping with my part-time on-line business. What a lifesaver! No more waiting in line at the post office, no more lugging a heavy postage machine over to the fax line & dialing up to refill postage. Need more postage? Click and your are done. Much smaller than the old postage machine.

Cons: The scale and the postage printer both require a USB port. A simple USB hub extender for about $15 solved this for me.

Other Thoughts: You can pre-print stamps (you can't with Pitney Bowes) and leave them available for clueless office workers who don't know how to use the postage machine. You can print regular 1st class postage, overweight 1st class postage, Priority Mail postage and more! AWESOME. No more getting stuck with a drawer full of old stamps when postage rates increase. You can print postage as you need it, very easy to control postage cost. You won't be sorry! Very easy to use, easy to load labels, takes up very little space, and is super cute.

2 out of 5 eggsNot the greatest solution

Pros: Printer works great and creates postal labels without ink or toner

Cons: Each label will cost you $0.17 each. ($17/roll of labels). Printing your postage label on plain paper and gluing it to your parcel or using Avery labels is a a better solution.

Also keep in mind that the Postal Service will NOT refund any badly printed postage on Dymo labels. Therefore it is wise to print a test label first. But at $0.17 for each test label, this solution makes internet postage extremely expensive.

The scale is very convenient when it's working and that's not too often. It frequently hangs at all-eights requiring the user to pull out the USB connector from the computer and reinstall.

Other Thoughts: For computer postage, use Avery labels on your printer and buy a stand-alone postage scale. You may lose something in the lack of automation but at least it will work and work cheaply. This solution is rated "Too expensive to use" and unreliable.
