Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: 1 month to 1 year
Pros: Fast warmup and print. Cheap, but fairly sturdy and reliable with no paper jams so far (500 sheets so far). A quality windows printer driver without a load of extra software (I'm lookin' at you, HP).
Cons: Fast warmup means it draws loads of power. Replacement toner costs almost as much as the printer itself, but the replacement assembly includes a new drum as well as toner cartridge, so there's no hidden cost of a new drum.
Other Thoughts: It might make noise when printing, but it quickly powers down into silent power-save. I have to agree that it makes a great printer for college students: I'm a college student and I love it. It has survived several hard moves.

Pros: Very Good Value Excellent print quality Can refill the toner cartridge Works great "shared" in home network
Cons: 1 paper jam - no problem to clear if you remove the toner cartridge and tray first. Short toner life, aprox 1000 pages. OEM toner cartridge cost is more than a new printer. See solution below.
Other Thoughts: Bought a refill kit with two toner refills for $16. Work perfectly, easy to refill. Only $8 to refill the toner .... very inexpensive.

Pros: Has power save feature in printer settings. Puts printer in standby after specified period of time. Has USB and parallel connections. The best news is the power and printer cables come off parallel to the back, not straight out so you can put the printer smack against the wall. HP's similar model has USB only and power cord comes straight out of the back. A deal killer for me. Oh yeah; no wall wart, power supply is internal. Printing is fast and very sharp. Do not use the driver on the software CD. Simply allow Windows to retrieve the driver from the internet.
Cons: When it is printing it sounds like a vacuum cleaner. Not a problem though because it prints fast.

Pros: The printer is great for our home use. Use it occasionally to print documents etc. The printer turns on fast and prints in a zippy. Could not pass the deal for $50 during new year sale at NewEgg. NewEgg is the best for great deals.
Cons: none so far.

Pros: prints well, like a laser should.
Cons: bought first one, after a couple of months the heater wouldn't shut off and it melted itself.
Sooo, like a fool I bought a second one($50). This one printed exactly two pages, then won't print anything any more. Just pumps the paper through. Paper not hot, so another heater fail in opposite way.
Other Thoughts: avoid, avoid, avoid. Please Newegg, drop this product like a rock that it is.

Pros: Small Foot-print Crisp Printing Quick Printing Easy Manual Collating Good Starter Package It prints about 20 pages a minute Lower cost printing then Ink Jets very Toner saver Feature
Cons: I don't see any real cons here. The toner is a little pricey tempting some to buy second hand cartridge. The Samsung print cartridges are embed with a chip that tells the printer when it is out of toner. A refurbished cartridge does not get new chips. I killed three printers back to back because I was buying refills.
Other Thoughts: This is a good economical printer, far cheaper to print with then the high dollar ink jets. I can not afford ink jet( or their ink ) anymore. I have been printing manuals all day now I have to glue them all up now, my break was to right to all you guys there now for a coffee and back to it. Do yourself a favor buy real Samsung toner cartridges. Install the drivers fist, then when you disconnect the USB turn the PC off before you plug it back in, or don't play musical chairs with your ports,PC don't think but you do isn't that great?
