Pros: Our company has five of these machines and I have one at home for nearly two years and haven't a single glitch or failure. They have been workhorses. Got them all at $199. All of them are setup on our network and no drops or issues like others have stated. Fax has worked perfectly as well.
Cons: Wish the initial start up time was quicker.

Rating: 3/5Don't last long
Pros: Inexpensive. Good print quality, lots of features
Cons: Don't seem to last very long, We have purchased 4 of these over the last 2 years and just had the second one fail. Will not copy, print, scan, nothing. Also goes through toner cartridges fast. We use the 209L which is supposed to be able to do about 5000 pages. We get 3500 to 4500.
Other Thoughts: Not very happy with these.

Rating: 2/5Firmware upgrade
Pros: Goood allround multifunction printer
Cons: No Firmware upgrade available.. Does anyone know how to get the firmware upgrade?
Other Thoughts: The printer gets hungup while faxcing with a message"Updating ... please wait or something to that effect" Called Samsung support and they informed me that to access their support you need a username & password that is available only to Samsung agents!!!! I think that ridiculous Called the local agent and he wanted a minimum $ 78 to do the upgrade.

Rating: 5/5Good B/W MF Laser Printer
Pros: Fast faxing. I can load a bunch of pages to fax at once. Toner is cheap. Emergency stop button to cancel printing. Very quiet printer compared to others I have used. Looks great in our small office. Very compact and stylish. Fast printing. Easy to use. Easy to install. Just put the CD into the PC(s) and connect the printer to your router. Duplex printing works well.
Cons: So-so scanner software. If you don't use the printer for a while it has to warm up for a couple of seconds. My old Canon MF laser printer never needed to warm up.
Other Thoughts: I bought this printer because our 5 year old Canon Laser MF5750 printer stopped functioning properly. I bought the Samsung SCX-4826FN when it was on sale. I recommand this printer if you can get it on sale.

Rating: 1/5DO NOT BUY!
Pros: cheap, duplex, network
Cons: too cheap, software not user friendly, if you have this thing on a network just don't unplug it ever, or have the power go out, because it will then need to be set up again on every computer you had it on previously; pc, mac, or linux. Then again, sometimes it just resets itself for the fun of it and you have re-install it on all your computers anyway.
Other Thoughts: I worked with several other brands, and all seem much easier to setup, use, and maintain. Don't buy!

Rating: 1/5Needs better software
Pros: inexpensive, auto duplex, network capable
Cons: Samsung's clunky software. Often resets itself, once set up on a pc through a network will suddenly disappear and need to be-installed. Other network printers don't have that problem. Also, Samsung app for smart phones does not work as well as other competing brands.

Rating: 5/5Very happy with this printer
Pros: Does everything that Samsung claims. Very good business-quality (not artist-quality) print and scan. Easy to set up. Desktop footprint is the same as my old HP 5L, although it is bigger at the top. All drivers/software are available for Windows Server 2008 R2.
Cons: The lights in the room flicker faintly when printing.
Other Thoughts: I've had this printer a couple of months. I use it very lightly - a half dozen pages and a few scans each day. Setup was a snap using the LCD panel. I just entered its fixed IP address, and from that point I could access the printer's built-in web site administration tool from my browser. The interfaces (web and LCD) are intuitive, and the manual is clearly written. The best part is that I didn't need to install any software for this printer, other than to let Windows download and install the printer driver itself. I only scan to a USB stick, so don't need to install the scan app. I've had so many problems with the software distributed with most hardware that I'm gun shy, and this printer was a welcome relief.

Rating: 2/5not for Mac users
Pros: Laser multifunction, Duplex printing (not scanning, though, which would be much more useful!), Networked, Quiet when not printing, good print quality (laser).
Cons: Atrocious Mac software from Samsung. Don't even try to install it! Mac OS 10.6 (Snow Leopard) supports the printer and scanner without the Samsung junk. However, even once I got the Samsung junk cleaned up, the scanner barely works, and often hangs, requiring me to "kill -9" the TWAIN driver in the terminal or reboot to scan again.
Other Thoughts: I have a Samsung networked laser printer that worked fine, without any vendor drivers, with my Macs, so I thought this MFP was worth a try. The printer works fine, but the scanner is a total waste of time. The duplex printing is nice, but the ability to scan/copy two-sided originals would be much more useful. I assumed the software would provide a way to merge documents to get a duplexed scan, but it doesn't. I would strongly recommend that Mac users look elsewhere.

Rating: 5/5This things ROCKS
Pros: The print quality is great, nice and sharp. Decent speed, even on duplex printing.
Ethernet functionality worked flawlessly and all home computers (XP, Vista, 7).
Toner prints until it is EMPTY, which is great (Had several hundred more pages after the first warning). Other units print until the toner is low, at which point the printer will NOT print.
Cons: I wish the paper tray would hold a full ream of paper. Also, I have not found a way to duplex copies from the glass, which is a mild annoyance. But you can duplex (1->2 sided) from the top feed.
Other Thoughts: The software can be a little bulky, but you can install a generic driver, which helps if installed on a slower computer.
I paid a lot less than the current price for this unit, which made it a KILLER deal. At the current price point, it is still a great deal and I'd buy it again.

Rating: 5/5Appears to be a workhorse!
Pros: Seems rock solid and very quiet. Print quality sharp, but tiny print a little light (gray). Printed a few hundred double side pages without any paper handling problems. Document feeder works flawlessly for faxing and copying.
Software easy to install. After connecting the Ethernet cable (not in box), network setup consisted of inserting the setup disk, and answering that it is a network installation. I needed no special settings on my secured mixed wireless and wired network.
So far, control panel menus seem easy to work with.
Cons: No printed manual. You must print it from the setup disk, which might be a problem if this is your only printer and you can't get it working without documentation. No Ethernet or USB cable in box.
For a high volume printer, toner cartridge is very low capacity, and will require frequent replacement (not very green for the tree hugging crowd). No built-in message center, but will interface with an answering machine. I haven't tried that yet.
Not wireless if you need that, but for me locating near router with Ethernet is no problem.
Other Thoughts: Some complained about the included software. Except for the device drivers, I will probably continue with the printing and scanning software built into the applications I use, so I haven't yet looked at the included software extras, and may never need them.
