4 out of 5 eggsSamsung CLP-620ND

Pros: Have had this printer for 3 years and no real major problems, in fact we are still using the same toner cartridges that came with it. It's not used daily but we make a lot of cards, letters, invoices and reports.

Cons: I haven't replaced any color cartridges yet but did look up the prices for them. Just as soon buy another printer and trash this one when it comes time to replace toner.

1 out of 5 eggsHope the belt doesn't fail

Pros: Prints quick and duplexes well.

Cons: Transfer belt broke after just over a year of usage and well under the 50k advertised. It conveniently broke right after I spent $350+ on replacing all of the color cartridges. Samsung is being extremely uncooperative in replacing it even after telling us it was a known issue and could be fixed under our warranty.

Other Thoughts: Don't take the gamble. There are comparable multifunction printers for about the same money.

2 out of 5 eggsCLP-620ND Toner

Pros: Print Quality is amazing..

Cons: I bought thiss printer about six months ago and am having to change toner for the 3rd time. At $140 ea. cartridge they should last but they dont. I do not recomend this printer for that reason. Get ready to pay BIG for toner.

5 out of 5 eggsProfessional quality printing on the cheap

Pros: Easy set-up.

Duplex printing (worth it's weight in gold!)

Rarely jams, but more importantly - easy to clear a jam on those rare occasions when it does.

Fabulous quality printouts - even color photographs - when you use good paper. Business reports look sooooo professional. I can't believe how much power and flexibility home users have these days compared to 1984 when the Apple MacIntosh and HP Laser printers invented desktop publishing.

Cons: Heavy, but then again, it's not like you're gonna' be moving it around very often.

Other Thoughts: My very first Samsung CLP was the model 510N that I bought about 7 years ago. At only 4ppm it was rather slow, but it gave me dependable service for three years before I passed it on to a friend and upgraded to the CLP-610ND model.

The 610ND was lighter, MUCH faster, cheaper, and gave two years of great service before I passed it on to a friend and upgraded to the more refined 620ND model.

The 620ND cost even less than the 610ND and I'm so happy with it that I just now bought two more from Newegg because of the great sale price.

Over the years I've printed thousands of duplex pages, mostly reports and business plans for clients that I would take to Office Depot where for about 4 bucks I could have them coil bound with clear plastic front covers and colored back covers. Needless to say my clients have always been impressed with my work.

To those who hate the "high" cost of toner cartridges - I remember when HP monochrome laser printers cost 5 grand and couldn't even do duple

1 out of 5 eggsFast low quality product !

Pros: It is fast and quiet

Cons: At the end of the day, the print quality is all that matters - and in this regard the clp-620nd sucks (print a colored text and see how ugly it is) ! A "funny" point is when printing multiple copies in a duplex mode you end up with two similar copies on both sides of the page, who is the genius who thought about it.

Other Thoughts: I wish I hadn't bought it !

4 out of 5 eggsSamsung Printer

Pros: I love the printer! It is big and about 60plus pnds. Works wonderfully and has duplexing! Only down fall I see is toner is expensive right now for it! I needed toner they are about 80.00 plus other places for 5k prints so I bought a second printer instead of buying more toner it was cheaper that way but you will only get about 1200 pages on the toner cartridge that comes with them

Cons: Toner is expensive

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Printer

Pros: Quick, quiet. Colors well saturated. My kids school reports never looked so good!

Cons: Makes printing too quick! I'll go through more paper with this ;-)

Blues & Greens are a little dark but this can be adjusted in the driver.

Other Thoughts: It is a bit chunky, described by a family member as industrial. However, it is no wider or deeper than my old inkjet. Just twice as tall so it is a bit more of a presence in the room. A smaller color inkjet had a fraction of the color speed so I accept the size.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Color Laser

Pros: Solid home office duplex color laser. Good print quality. Decent speed.

Cons: Expensive OEM toner cartridges. Loud.

Other Thoughts: If you are OK with refilling toner cartridges yourself, this is a great buy. If you plan to buy OEM carts, you will pay out the nose. Honestly, just refill for roughly $150 (all carts & chips) and 20 minutes of your time.

4 out of 5 eggsSo far I like it

Pros: So far I like the printer. Bought this 'cause my cheaper Samsung color laser took a dump. So far printing is nice and sharp.
To those who think this printer is have NOT seen a big printer if you think this one is big. Also, it kinda has to be big because of the features, size of toners, duplexing, etc.

Cons: None so far but from experience, Samsung's tech support sucks BIG time! This is not anything that has to do with Newegg and their excellent service but you may (and I hope not) have problems with the support. FOR THE PRICE THOUGH, it's well worth taking a chance and by the way, if they jerk you around, don't let them. Ask for a higher level support.

Other Thoughts: Colors are a little off and prints a little dark but that applies to most printers and you can adjust that.

Give this one a shot for the money it's costing you.

5 out of 5 eggsColor laser printer on a budget

Pros: It was inexpensive. Bought it at 299 and thought it was a better deal than any ink jet you can buy. This was for my home office so it doesn't see a lot of use but for duplex color printer at home, oh yeah!

Cons: Meh, it's just big and heavy but that's only an issue when moving and installing it.

Other Thoughts: I don't look forward to the day when I have to replace all of the toner cartridges but it's a laser printer.
