Pros: Compact, good for home use, reasonable toner price.

Cons: Color printing quality not reliable, too much green saturation. Calibration helps but only for a short period. No duplex, what use is ECO if simple duplex is not included. I have a lot of Samsung products, TVs, Cell phones (S1, S2, S3), eco bubble washmachine. This Printer is my worst Samsung product till now.. disappointing indeed! I think Samsung may be losing it's touch!

Pros: Print quality is good.

Cons: Only has manual duplex printing, which works terrible. When you print a page it comes out slightly curled because of the heat (which is normal for laser printers) however when reload those pages for duplex printing 50% of the time it causes a paper jam and you have to re-print your entire document.
Paper tray sticks out quite a bit, looks terrible
Colour printing is slow
Paper tray can only store a small amount of paper. If you load it too much you don't get any warning, you just get a paper jam.
Quite loud when printing

Other Thoughts: Overall i wish i didn't buy this printer. Was not what i was looking for and disappointed in the poor design by Samsung.

Based on your noted concerns, it sounds like the CLX-6260 series would be a better fit for your usage needs. These machines print at up to 25 color pages per minute, and include automatic duplex as well as a larger paper tray capacity – up to 250 sheets.

Pros: Good feature set with nice price--with one huge exception.

Cons: Why Samsung would create a new product that only does manual duplex printing, I cannot fathom, but I find it very disturbing.
Printers that do not duplex automatically belong in the junk yard.
If you have time to manually duplex, you don't need to be printing anything.

Other Thoughts: Samsung must have considerable investments and private interest in continuing deforestation of the rain forest to allow a product like this out the door in 2012.

Samsung is committed to conserving the environment. The one-touch Eco button on our printers configures the printer to use less toner, print multiple pages to a sheet, and enables duplex on printers that support it. However, automatic duplex is not a standard feature on this printer. If you are looking for a color laser multifunction with automatic duplex, we would suggest looking into the CLX-6260 series.

Pros: Finally rid of all inkjet printers. Prints fairly fast, great quality, scans and copies well. Wireless/ethernet on back. USB input in front. Settings are intuitive and navigable. We'll see about the durability, but the initial quality is on par or better for printers in this price range.

Cons: Only thing I can knock it for is the paper tray at the bottom; it sticks out about 4 inches in front. Aesthetically, not that pleasing.
