5 out of 5 eggsGreat printer

Pros: Wireless was super easy to set up. Prints fast and crisp.

Cons: The paper tray sticks out a little bit in the back, not a big deal but just something to be aware of if you wanted it flush against the wall. Not much, maybe an inch or so.

5 out of 5 eggsNot fancy, but good value.

Pros: Low cost, simple. Very easy to install and setup. I did not use the wireless function, but by using the USB cable it is dead simple.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: For the price I did not have high expectations, but it works just as advertised and hopefully will for a long time.

3 out of 5 eggsSo far acceptable

Pros: Low price; good print quality; duplex; wifi.

Cons: Wifi drops on Mac. Likely might need to assign a static (permanent) IP on the LAN. Still trying to diagnose the issue. iOS Samsung Print app seems to only see the original IP address; and not search/scan update as expected/needed. The Mac Samsung easy printer manager DOES find it; but it's of very little use. There is a web services sync option; and an Easy IP Mac app for setup; but also two other Mac apps. WHICH ONE TO USE WHEN? That's the part that takes some reading, and figuring out. No, I have not contact Samsung support. Yet.

Other Thoughts: My first refurb came and it was NOISY; obviously not right; and the usage counter was ALREADY greater than 6,000. This one appears brand NEW, sounds as I would expect. (not loud gear noises) and very low, single digit usage (likely from factory test print) So far so good.

3 out of 5 eggsSimilar Printer

Pros: Prints duplex nicely. Integrates with Linux easily once your download the Samsung driver. It's totally invisble until you do that - at least on USB.

It's pretty fast.

Overall, I like it, but wouldn't give it to a user who's not comfortable with pulling it apart (in several stages) to clear a jam.

Cons: It jams pretty often - mostly when printing the second sideof a sheet.

When sending mulltiple priint jobs to it at one time, it sometimes gets confused and prints raw printer data on lots of mostly blank pages after it prints the first few correctly.

Other Thoughts: I have the M2625 which is very similar.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat features, but expensive toner

Pros: It's Airprint compatible, prints double-sided and it's fast.

Cons: The cartridges are extremely expensive and you can't refill them yourself without buying a $20 chip.
