At up to 69 labels per minute (for a standard, four-line address label) and 300dpi resolution, the Brother QL-1050 Professional Label Printer combines fast, professional output with ease of use and low maintenance requirements, making it a good solution for shipping, post offices, hospitals, pharmacies, retail, manufacturing, bar coding and more.

Easy-Load Label Rolls

The Brother QL-1050 Wide Format Professional Label Printer can use all of Brother's easy-to-load DK label rolls, plus three new label rolls specifically designed for the printer: 4 x 6" and 4 x 2" die-cut labels, and a 4" continuous roll for labels up to three feet long.

Cons: Print quality is so-so, obnoxiously noisy when printing. Not compatible with any labels other than Brother DK at $38 per roll of 200. I bought this to replace a $3000 Zebra printer for UPS label printing. It performs well, and UPS WorldShip software picks it up and uses it with the 4"x6" labels flawlessly. The labels are a bit on the spendy side, but I suspect that Brother is selling this thing for next to cost to get the consumable business. The labels are one piece, with no separate imaging foil needed like on the larger commercial printers, so loading is simple. Cons: Labels have pronounced curl, especially towards the end of the roll, but I suppose you can't get around that by using a larger core, and still have the printer itself stay so compact. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.
