3 out of 5 eggsGood Labels, Awkward Keyboard

Pros: Brother makes great quality labels, this unit is no exception.

Cons: Keyboard layout is 6 rows of 5 keys - NOT QWERTY.
This makes typing labels a bit of a headache, and it is not easy to make labels quickly.

Other Thoughts: I got this on a NewEgg deal for $9.99 free shipping, I got it as a second labeler to keep in my toolbox and I didn't want to spend a lot of money. Next time I need a P-Touch, I will spend more money for a better keyboard layout.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Came free with a HDD. Works as advertised.

Cons: I wish refills were cheaper.

Other Thoughts: They give out the labelers at a lose so you will buy their refills. Check out the prices of refills before buying.

5 out of 5 eggsBrother P-Touch

Pros: Easy set up, easy to use, excellent quality results

Cons: Little large considering the size of the tape. New tapes are expensive (but they last a while).

5 out of 5 eggsGreat deal !

Pros: Cheap, writes on two lines, many different colors of labels you can buy for this, no power cord needed. Clear keyboard, many symbols, preview option, etc.

Cons: Replacement tapes are expensive, but that is how they make their money, same as cell phones. No power cord, but hey at least they tell you what volts to buy or steal from another product to use, so go get a power cord and you're all set.

Other Thoughts: Thank goodness NewEgg ships to U.S. Military overseas APO AP boxes and fast for being in Japan. Love you NewEgg!

Pros: It is cheap and fun.

Cons: Needs a big power supply, or lots of AAA batteries.
It doesn't come with much label tape.
New label tape costs more than the printer!!!!

4 out of 5 eggsCool

Pros: Cheap, small, great keyboard layout.

Cons: Can't seem to shrink the margins up so not so much label is wasted, like another reviewer stated it prints 1inch b4 and after text. Waste of label if u ask me. Sample cartridge was also a con, but for the "special" price i got it at I can;t complain too much.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Product

Pros: Very nice key layout, multiple fonts and sizes available. prints nice clear labels. Have used to label wall outlets, hard drive enclosures, price was very good as well as great Newegg shipping.

Cons: Only comes with a sample label cartridge, not sure how many labels I can get on it. When printing labels, there is a gap of 1 inch before the text is printed and 1 inch after. So for every label you print you use an additional 2 inches of label that must be discarded. Over many uses that is a lot of label that is wasted.

Other Thoughts: As mentioned, lots of label waste after time, not sure what label cartridge costs as it came with a sample cartridge and I have not looked up what cartridges cost.
