Pros: Wireless. Fast printing. Available ethernet or USB connections. Works with Windows 7. Wakes up from sleep mode quickly. Network settings can use DHCP or you can set your own permanent IP address.
Cons: Even though I stated it works with Win7, there is some component that does not seem totally compatible... maybe the scanning part. Whatever it is, it hasn't affected my everyday use. Another "con" is it is only black & white.
Other Thoughts: I bought this as a replacement for my HP all-in-one printer. I believe the Brothers give a better value for toner, which frequently is the most expensive part of printer ownership.

Pros: can be complicated for someone who doesn't know about wireless or network.
Cons: wireless scanning is really slow. so try to multi-task.

Pros: This printer sports a wealth of features that would have been unheard of at this price just a few years ago. The quality of the high resolution laser printer is excellent, and the PostScript support is a terrific bonus. The WiFi feature also works flawlessly.
Cons: IPP printing does not support password security.
Other Thoughts: I installed the printer via WiFi using WPA2 encryption. I have Windows 7 x64 and had no problems installing the printer driver. Windows automatically found the driver and installed it. As for the scanner and fax driver, I downloaded the Vista x64 drivers from the Brother website and installed it. Works perfectly.
