Pros: Good functionality; relatively easy network setup.
Cons: Software processes take a LOT of RAM; at least 40-45 MB even while idle. Installation of the driver/software package increased system start-up/wake-up time significantly.
Other Thoughts: Some confusion about compatibility with Windows 7, but see:
I intend to try out the printer with Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit. We'll see how it works....

Pros: Get it if you get a good price.
Cons: Giving me a lot of problems now with the Win7 upgrade. Can't print. Have to go to other networked XP and Vista machines to print.
Other Thoughts: From Brother web site, have to wait to December to get the drivers. Brother has had a lot of time working on the Win7 drivers...

Pros: Around 2500 pages on the high capacity toner, quiet, easy-to-use, wireless.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: The wireless was rather easy to set up. It's nice to print whatever from wherever.
