5 out of 5 eggsnot bad...

Pros: Set up in minutes. Toner is separate from drum, reducing cost.

Cons: None yet.

Other Thoughts: Just waiting for my wireless router to get here so I can try it out in wireless mode.

3 out of 5 eggsBefore you buy

Pros: Will function as a generic USB printer on any OS I throw at it, including puppy linux.
Prints fast, prints cheap.
Online interface is extremely versatile.

Cons: Difficult to set up wireless. The wireless network setup on XP and Vista would be out of reach for most users. It flat out would not connect wireless to a linux setup.
Its a thief and a liar with its toner

Other Thoughts: It will lie about the amount of toner left. Just put a patch of tape over both optical holes on the sides of your toner cartridge (they are easily identifiable by the clear plastic coverings.) This will fool it into thinking it is always full of toner.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Easy setup and networking. If you have Windows 7 or OS X, driver installation is easy. Basically all I did was pop in the toner cartridge, plug an ethernet cord into it, install the drivers, and I was up and printing. Couldn't ask for much more.

Cons: None that I can see.

Other Thoughts: (1) I have not tried this over wireless, so I have no knowledge on that aspect.

(2) The toner cartridge in the box is a lower capacity than I think you would buy normally. It will likely tell you low toner after about a ream of paper or so. HOWEVER, you can get more use out of the cartridge. Take the toner out and you'll see a place where the printer shoots a laser through to monitor the toner level. Place a piece of tape (I used black electrical tape) over one side and then pop it back in. I've gotten at least 100 more pages out of it.

5 out of 5 eggsInkjets Are Dead

Pros: Boy, if you ever buy ink jet cartridges again your nuts. What a grat printer. All my needs. I take my color stuff to the CVS and use their paper and ink for pics.

And with 1500 sheet printing out of the box, I won't have to buy a $19 laser cartridge for 2 years.

Way Way Cheaper than ink.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsSuper Satisfied

Pros: Super easy installation. I hard wired the printer to my wireless router and IP assignment went smoothly.
Installed drivers on 2 XP boxes and 1 old Win 2000 box. All machines recognized the network printer.
The print quality is great.
Cost of recertified versus new.
Brother dependability.

Cons: Printer feels a little flimsier than the Brother laser it replaced.
Starter toner package.

Other Thoughts: Replace Brother HL-1440 that I have been using since 2002, it still works but the wireless print server that supported it gave out so instead of buying a new print server I opted for a new Brother printer.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect!

Pros: Paper Tray is large and internal.
Wireless setup ( You connect to the printer as it's own ad-hoc device and set it up for your network).
Small footprint. With the paper tray internal and the output on top of the printer, the footprint is exactly as you see it. My inkjets have paper sticking out the back and printing out the front. I had heard that laser printers needed time to warm up. The time to first page was quicker than my Cannon MP210. It also seems to print fast.

Cons: People have complained about the noise. I think it's bogus. It has an 80mm fan that runs while it's printing.

Other Thoughts: This is exactly what I wanted. Mine was a refurb, but it looks perfect. My wife is back in school and printing has been popular. Now, I don't have to worry about her or my kids printing in color.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Deal

Pros: Small footprint, easy to setup for wireless use, good print quality, great price for a networked printer (WiFi was not one of my req, but since this was by far the best deal it was a great bonus).

Cons: Lights dim when jobs are sent to the printer (not sure if it's all print jobs or ones that just wake it up), it even tripped my breaker once, which unfortunately in the same room as my UPS deprived PC.

Other Thoughts: The printer is great, but you might want to consider placing it on a different breaker than the room you're currently in to reduce the risk of overloading it.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Cheap, easy to setup wireless printer. Printing is quick, drivers are refreshingly light and unobtrusive compared to certain other brands.

Cons: Comes with starter toner.

Other Thoughts: This is a great deal, and if the rebate comes in it will be a super great deal!

5 out of 5 eggsLooks like new to me

Pros: Looks like new. Not too noisy, except when turning it on.

Cons: Setting up the wireless was confusing. And the lights dim when I turn it on.

Other Thoughts: UPS required a signature, so I had to drive out to UPS and stand in line for an hour.
