Unfortunately, Brother has implemented some weird page counting algorithm. We print a monthly booklet--about 30 pages, With the High Yield cartridges on the HL-4040 we get 3000 pages. With the HL-4150 and these High Yield cartridges we are seeing the cartridge replacement nag screens at 400 pages and the printer stop printing at 500 pages! What is most upsetting is we smashed open one of the cartridges and it still had over 3/4's of the toner in the cartridges but refuses to print. You would do better to simply throw away the printer and buy new rather than waste money on toner. 1 out of 2 people found this review helpful. Did you?
