Can you confirm that it has scanning feature?

No, this model (HL-5450DN) does not have a scanner. It is only a printer. But the DCP-L2520DW and HL-L2380DW both have scanning and printing capabilities.

We print a lot of 3 column labels is this a good print for print labels?

No. I print labels too and I find that I have to load each sheet individually in order for it to feed correctly. Also, the toner needs time to set when applied to labels. I find that if I touch them within the first few minutes, the toner comes off on my fingers.

just got this computer delivered today - I thought it was wireless but it doesn't look like it - can I connect it to my wireless home network?

It is not wireless. There is a wired ethernet port on the back which is the only network connection. If it is anywhere near your wireless router, plug it into one of the LAN ports on the router. If not, get another printer. If you don't need wireless, it's a terrific printer.

what part number is the extra paper drawer?

No idea. I just bought the printer and it works well but I have no need for the extra paper drawer.

Where can I get the 320mb memory upgrade for the 5450DN?

The KTH-LJ2015/256 specified by Brother is available on Newegg and is currently on sale at $12.99. That 256MB added to the onboard memory makes the total the 320MB maximum. That's what's installed in mine. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820134645

Does is support AirPrint, Google Cloud Print?

It supports both, but Google Cloud Print does not work with business domains (e.g. @yourcompany[dot]com). I've also had issues with logging in on GCP but a firmware update resolved that.

Which way does paper get picked up from the tray? (ie. if you print on pre-printed stock like letterhead, which way do you place the paper in the main tray?
