Pros: Good looking
Many Options
Ok Speeds

Cons: Wifi takes a minute compute.
Paper tray is too small
Only able to load one sheet at a time on the back tray.
Went DEAD after a few months.

Other Thoughts: Disspointed. Printer Died just after a 3 months. Not buying brother printers again.

Pros: Relatively quiet and quick. Two paper trays. Accommodates 11x17" single sheet paper. Networks easily via Ethernet. Good remote control operation.

Cons: o Maintenance functions require the top tray, which is the only tray to accommodate smaller than letter size papers. Would be better to have one tray for plain paper and maintenance with another for specialty items. o Color space not specified. Support people had no idea what I was talking about, yet it is impossible to design a printer without knowing how numerical color values will be translated into ink on paper. The second level person did take the trouble to look up what I was talking about. Still waiting for an answer.

5 out of 5 eggsThis thing is a beast

Pros: Fast clean prints, 11x17 in the extendable bottom tray, easy to use interface, no jambs. I use this in a small office that prints ~2k 8x11 and ~350 11x17 pages a month, on standard paper/quality settings it lives up to its 35ppm rating. We love that the cartridges don't contain a print head or any electronics and the color cartridges are individual colors. The "high yield" cartridges last months.

Cons: A bit loud, but it prints so fast it doesn't matter much. The software is bloated.

Other Thoughts: It's not small, but no 11x17 capable printer is.

Pros: It is good overall. The tech support is awesome. The fax is outstanding as it offers color and double-sided faxes. Good quality printing.

Cons: I use it wireless from my laptop. It takes a a minute or so for the printer to receive the print job. Not only do you get a pop-up when you do control P, but also another window to select the print job again.

Other Thoughts: For the price it's ideal. If you choose the high yield, high capacity ink cartridges, they will run about $125 with current prices. (3 color, and 2 black) I definitely would purchase again. It's way better than HP.
