HP 35A Black LaserJet Print Cartridge For P1005 And P1006 (CB435A)

Pros: I replaced this unit 11/10/2011. I use it daily in a small office. It finally began having white streaks down the middle of in on 09/10/2012. This lasted way longer than the "refill" or "reconditioned" cartridge I used before this. The refill only lasted 3 monhts.

Cons: This CB435A H.P. cartridge is only used in the following HP printers: LJ P1005 and P1006. Too bad HP has discontinued both of these. Once they decide to quit making the cartridges, your unit will be trash.

Pros: As expected this toner cartridge is perfect. It works well, and has no leaks.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Some complain about cost. Well this one is more expensive than refurbished and generic cartridges. But it doesn't suffer from their cons: poor quality, leaks. You do get what you pay for when it comes to toner cartridges. Being a certified laser printer technician I do know what cheaper cartridges can do to an otherwise good printer. And when it gets low, give it a shake to get a few more pages printed. That is what I did for a month before I bought a new cartridge.

Pros: It's a quality product

Other Thoughts: I like the printer so it's worth spending the money to get a cartridge for it, I just wish they weren't so expensive.

Pros: Easy to install; comes with prepaid UPS label to ship old cartridge back for recycling; works waaay better than the cr@ppy generic ones

Other Thoughts: Never thought I'd review a toner cartridge, yet here I am...

Pros: Pretty much what the title says. Cheaper than the "That was easy" or can I sell you a warranty dudes.

Cons: Toner cartridges and ink cartridges are way too expensive in general. I know that's why the printer was so cheap. It still makes me angry.

Other Thoughts: Be kind and recycle it when it's time for a new one.

Pros: well pacakged, easy to install, prints perfectly from the first page. NewEgg shipped out right away!
I've had bad experience with generic toner in the past, and its worth the money to get the real stuff that works.

Cons: fairly expensive, but newegg w/ MIR is the cheapest around. per page cost is so much lower than inkjet

Other Thoughts: no instructions in the box, but i don't see how you could need them if you are pulling an old one out. All you have to do is pull out the orange strip and slide in strait in.
Although there were no insturctions in the box, there was a return shipping label to recycle your old toner? I wonder if HP remanfactures it themselves?

Pros: GREAT INK, Works between 1,000-2,500 Pages. Very Great for the P1005, and works great everytime

Pros: I bought this printer for a lot of manuscript printing, forms, and daily general use. Copies are crisp and clean; grays print well. Handles recycled paper with no problem. Once it's made up it's mind to print (a bit slow), the pages shoot out at speed.

Cons: It is a noisy little critter. It occasionally make a small clunking noise for no apparent reason. This may not be a "con" if you live alone and chatty equipment keeps you company. The design is rather clumsy - looks like a breadbox. When I print from Microsoft Word on my Mac, it works on the "Standard" setting. But when I try to print from a saved format for saving toner (Economode), it crashes Word without even opening the print menu. I couldn't get back to printing unless I chose another printer, printed a page, then came back to the 1006 menu and changed it back to "Standard." Other programs seem to work okay.

Pros: Whats to say, it works as it should

Other Thoughts: If it was only a little cheaper

Pros: extremely fast printing.. it does what i need it to do... very good investment.. considering my last printer was an inkjet with the ink costing nearly $40 and only print about 300 black pages.. this was a very good investment..
